Each shelf comes with 2 stainless steel brackets. Each bracket bolts to the side of the shelf once mounted. All materials are stainless steel 300 series, specifically 304/L. Shelves are either 16 Gauge (.0625") or 14 (.0824") thick. Shelves should be mounted into the structural framing of the wall they are being installed on. The maximum weight of the shelf will depend on the mounting method. If mounted properly into wooden 2x4 studs, the shelf will hold easily hold 100+ Lbs.
